League Testimonials:
Rick as the season comes to an end, The 14U parents would like to thank you for your dedication to the game of softball and making it for what it is in Lake and Porter County. Our parents and players in the 14U program enjoy the towns we travel to and experience playing a different team every week. It is both competitive and fun. Thank you once again for organizing it and keeping it together.

My name is Don Frye, I'm a Board member for Dyer Girls Softball.
I was watching the Spring Fling tourney this past weekend, my 14 yr
old played in it for Dyer (2nd Pl) and just wanted to tell all of you
that you did a great job. I've been our UIC in the past & still umpire
and the umpires, especially, did an outstanding job all weekend! They
all were professional, friendly, courteous, decisive & accurate. My
opinion doesn't really matter, but as a Board member,12U Manager, Dad
& fan I know how few & far between we all get an "atta boy" or thank
you. Please pass on my/Dyer's thanks & praise for an excellent job by
all involved, the tournament was a great example of how to do it right
with the right people involved,
Sincerely,
Don Frye

Rick,
All the feedback I received from players, coaches, and fans was positive. It never hurts when the play on the field lives up to the day, that I can say truly happened. Hats off to you for organizing the tournament and support given to all the towns that played host, this was Dyer's first attempt at hosting an all-star tournament and it went extremely well. I am quite sure we (Dyer) would be interested in the future regarding hosting more tournaments. As we discussed early in the morning on Saturday it is impossible to please everybody, but we ended up very pleased by the days events. (Even though my team had the 8am game....) Just kidding. Great job once again, hope everything turned out great at the other sites.
Regards,
Stephen A. Curatolo
Dyer Girls Softball 2009
Rick,
St John 8U All Stars had a great time at your 2009 LOFS tournament July 18th, we felt it was very organized and your umpires were fair and equitable. Our girls were so excited to take 2nd place! We would love to be a part of a future tournament and we are sorry that we are unavailable for the July 31st Crosstown tournament.
Thanks again!
Angel Sherlund and Coaching staff of St John 8U All Stars 2009.
Mike from Lansing
As commissioner for the 14U Schererville Girls Softball League and manager of the
HydroAire Renegades, I would like to commend and thank everyone associated with the
SLCGS CT-LEAGUE for their outstanding efforts in organizing and conducting a
successful 2007 season. We enjoyed competing against all the very good players from
all the towns participating and we appreciate the new friendships we were able to
establish with some of the other managers and coaches from around the league.
Best Regards.
Ken B.
Thanks for a great season. This is the first time a lot of my girls were in
Crosstown and the girls and their families enjoyed the season.
Thanks again!
