Girls Program Information

All interested players are welcome at Skyline Lacrosse, with or without experience. Skyline offers Fall Ball for grades 2-8 as an opportunity for new players to try lacrosse and experienced players to learn and improve upon their skills with our outstanding coaching staff.  Fall Ball is held on Sunday beginning in October and ends in November.

Spring Season has three divisions and includes practice and competition between other Bay Area lacrosse clubs in the NCJLA league. It begins in January and ends with the NCJLA Championship Tournament just before Memorial Day weekend.

The Lightening (U11) Program is primarily comprised of 2nd - 4th graders in a developmental environment. The focus of this program is to teach the players the basic skills and fundamentals of girls’ lacrosse. Players will share playing time and play all positions on the field. There is one practice a week and two league games (back to back) on the weekend. League games begin in March and run through May finishing the weekend before Memorial Day.

The Junior (U13) Program is primarily comprised of 5th – 6th graders. The focus of this program is to teach the players the basic skills, fundamentals and sportsmanship of girls’ lacrosse. Players will share and earn playing time and will begin to focus on positions that they enjoy playing best. There are two practices a week and two league games (back to back) on the weekend. League games begin in March and run through May finishing the weekend before Memorial Day.

The Senior (U15) Program is primarily comprised of 7th – 8th graders. The focus of this program is to continue growing the skills and sportsmanship necessary to play lacrosse at the high school level. Players will share and earn playing time and will focus on their respective positions. There are two practices a week and two league games (back to back) on the weekend. League games begin in March and run through May finishing the weekend before Memorial Day.

Experienced players may play up a division upon coach’s recommendation.

Please note that all girls are required to wear a mouth guard and goggles to play!
