2009 11-12 Year Old All-Star District Tournament begins July 5th at Art Mikelson Little League Field.
The 2009 11-12 Year Old All-Star Teams begin District Tournament play Sunday, July 5th. Brackets for the different levels are available in the "Handouts" folder reflecting any recent updates.
- The SKW 11-12 Year Old All-Stars began their District Tournament by defeating SK Eastern Little League.
- The SKW 9-10 Year Old All-Stars have won their last 2 games in the 9-10 District Tournament being held at Gig Harbor Little League Fields.
- The SKW 10-11 Year Old All-Stars had a rough outing against SK Eastern in their 1st game in 10-11 Year Old All-Stars District Tournament also being held at Gig Harbor.
- SKWLL is hosting both District and State Tournaments for the 11-12 Year Old All-Stars this year at Art Mikelson Major League Field. The 11-12 Year Olds began play on Sunday, July 5th.
- The Juniors 1st game in their District Tournament is at 3:00pm, Sunday July 12th at Chimacum

Great Job Doctor's Clinic! 2009 Interleague Majors Champions!
And a Big Shout Out to SKWLL Juniors' Perfect Season!
South Kitsap Western's Major League team Doctor's Clinic defeated their SKWLL rival and last year's Interleague Champions--Morrison Gravel to win the 2009 Major League Interleague Tournament.
South Kitsap Western was also represented in the 2009 Minor League Interleague Championship. Edward Jones who went undefeated in their regular season lost in the Championship game by a single run to a North Mason Minor League team.
SKWLL Juniors also had a season to remember. Our Junior played 16 games and won 16 games! Great Job by all of our SKWLL Teams this year!!

A Great Day had by all at the Kitsap BlueJackets game!
Everyone that came out to watch the Kitsap BlueJackets and the Olympia Athletics were treated to a great day of baseball! Great pitching, solid defense, timely hitting and amazing weather made Wednesday's game a fun one to be at! SKWLL thanks everyone that came out to support our league and all of the wonderful volunteers! A Special Thank You goes to our Kitsap BlueJackets and the Olympia Athletics! We hope to see you again next year!

Bat-A-Thon® an Amazing Success-update!
South Kitsap Western Little League would like to thank everyone that helped with the SKWLL 2009 Bat-A-Thon® We have raised over $24,000 to support our league. A special thank you to the all of the managers, coaches, team coordinators, players, parents and volunteers who made it possible. Thank you again for helping to keep our league at being one of the best Little League organizations in the state! If money hasn’t been turned in, please bring it to Major Field Clubhouse and place in Black Lockbox. Awards Day will be June 14th at 11:00am.
SKWLL would like to thank all those who volunteered this year to be managers, coaches, umpires, scorekeepers, and to work in the concession stand. Without your help we could not have a great baseball season!
