Serve on the Board of Directors
Like all non-profit organizations, South Kitsap Western Little League relies on the generosity of it's volunteers. Simply put, SKWLL cannot exist without volunteers.
There are several Board of Director positions that are still vacant for the 2009 season. The Board of Directors meet once a month. All positions on the Board are unpaid volunteer positions. If you can fill one of these positions, contact Bob Showers @ showersbaseball@wavecable.com.

SK Western 10-11 Year Old All-Stars Finish 2nd in State!
The SK Western 10-11 All-Stars began State Tournament play in Auburn back on July 19th and ended up playing 8 consecutive days. Saturday, July 19th, the beat Burlington-Edison. Sunday, July 20th, SK Western lost a 1 run ballgame to Lake Stevens and were bumped into the loser's bracket. In order to get to the Championship game on Saturday, July 26th, the SK Western 10-11 Year Olds would have to win elimination games Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Monday they defeated Aberdeen. Tuesday they defeated Federal Way National. Wednesday they defeated Greater Richland. Thursday they paid back Lake Stevens with a victory. And Friday they won a close 3-2 game against Salmon Creek.
Then came the Championship game against last year's 9-10 Year Old State Champions--Eastlake. SK Western jumped out to a 5-0 lead. But due to some timely hitting by Eastlake and some miscues in the field by SK Western, Eastlake was able to make a comeback and won the game 9-7 to win their 2nd consecutive Washington State banner.
Congratulations on a Great Year to all of the 10-11 Year Old Players: Logan, Lucas, Tyler, Mac, Hudson, Austin, Luke, Joel, Antonio, Alika, Ed, Alex and Matt.
