For more than 40 years, Skiles Test Baseball has provided an unmatched opportunity for kids to play ball in an environment that encourages good sportmanship, fun, friendly competition and top level coaching and player development. Since the construction of Skiles Test in the early 1960's to serve new neighborhoods in a rapidly devloping area of Lawrence Township, to today's players spread over the north side of Indianapolis and southern Hamilton County, the fields near 71st Street and Shadeland Avenue have been the premier home for great fun and great baseball in northeast Indianapolis.

At Skiles Test, "family" is more than just a slogan...former players are now parents and coaches; the woods behind the fields are now being discovered by new generations of kids who find the same wonder as kids two generations ago. As as players move through the leagues, from Rookies to Majors, they make friends with others with whom they share more than school and a neighborhood...they share the bond of teammates and competitors, in a mix that changes and comes together year after year; one year a teammate, the next a kid on the other team...but always a friend.

All this comes together through the dedication of parents who volunteer to coach, be team parents, and help maintain the fields. And, as importantly, through the generous support of local businesses. Sponsorship opportunities for businesses come at several levels, all of which help make Skiles Test Baseball the continuing youth sports success story that has sustained the league for so many years.
