We will be hosting the following meets and will need your help in the Buffet Babe:
Sat-Sun Jan 17-18/09 OS @ Susan Auch Oval
Sun Feb 22/09 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm ST Ability Meet @ Sportsplex Arena, Brandon (Joint with Westman)
Sun March 22/08 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Manitoba Cup @ Dutton Arena, Winnipeg (Joint with Interlake)
Hello SJSSC,
If anyone is coming to this weekends competition and would like to contribute some baking or sweets I sure would appreciate it. Please note that it is going to a good cause: to help bribe our officials and volunteers, it is suppose to warm up but I think they may be fibbing, so it will take a little sweetness to keep the volunteers happy
If you can just send me an email to give me a heads up, and bring it by Room #4 at the oval on Saturday or Sunday. I will be there as early as 7:30 each day with the coffee on. A Free cup of coffee to anyone who ponies up with the goodies!

Safety at Club Ice All Call...
This may be something we take for granted, but the safety of our skaters depends on us and our coaches. Our skaters have chosen a sport that is fast and the percentage of injury is low due to our diligence in putting the grey mats in place every practice. You may also have noticed a first aid kit available at every practice. Let your parent rep know when you are unable to stay for a practice and what number you may be reached.
Thank you Coaches Danielle, Mat, Jason, Grace and Dan for ensuring our skaters are safe by placing the mats on the rink. What we like to see is "many hands make light work", if you can do what you can to contribute to the placing of the mats at the beginning of practice it would be greatly appreciated. No, doctor's notes are not nesessary when we all help in different ways.
If a key is needed for the Mat Room we are always able to ask the rink attendant for assistance.

Social Chair Snack/Treat/Drink Sign Up
Last year we were successful by putting sign up sheets outside of the change rooms and people can write their names in one (or if you want two!) of the spots where they will bring something to that event. The sign up will be updatedweekly until they are full.
I will touch base with the people who have signed up for each event prior to that event.
Also, you will know in advance when you are bringing something. There may be some additions as the year goes on.
