Willow Glen Little League: Marcus Keppert Scholarship Fund

In honor of Marcus Keppert and his family, Willow Glen Little League has named their scholarship fund, the Marcus Keppert Scholarship Fund. Marcus was known as the Gentle Giant, and his heart was as big as his body. At 15 years old he stood almost 6’8”, 245 lbs, and wore a size 18 shoe, you could never say to him act your age not your shoe size! Marcus loved Willow Glen Little League, he exemplified what little league should be all about and that is playing for the love of the game. A young man of few words, Marcus in his short 15 years on earth has touched more people than most of us will in a lifetime. This is one way how you can keep Marcus’s memories alive by donating each and every year to the Marcus Keppert Scholarship fund. The money donated will go to players who cannot afford the fees and/or equipment to play little league, and any surplus will go to the general fund and put to good use to benefit the league’s facilities, fields and events. Marcus’s legacy lives on and will continue to touch everyone who reads or hears about his story, his life, his gentle ways, his salvation, his love for the game, and his love for his friends and family.
