St. Joan of Arc Football Program
Mission Statement
The St. Joan of Arc football program is committed to teaching the fundamentals of football, team work, and sportsmanship in an environment that stresses faith, family, and fun. The St. Joan of Arc football program strives to produce exemplary young men of faith in the community, their family, the classroom and on the field. This will be accomplished by modeling Christian behavior at all times and teaching the proper priorities in life; God, Family, School, Football.
Program Description
Since our inception in 1955, St. Joan of Arc football has been a proud member of the Catholic Youth Organization of the Archdiocese of Detroit. Teams are fielded at three levels of competition; freshman 3rd/4th grade; Junior Varsity 5th/6th; and Varsity 7th/8th. All boys in SJA School or members of SJA Parish in grades 3-8 are welcome to join our team. Students in grades 3-8 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic School in Grosse Pointe Woods are also permitted to play football for St. Joan of Arc.
