**08-09 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS**

BASKETBALL (CYO):

  • 11/22:  Congratulations to the 7/8th girls Basketball team in winning the Fr.Mee Tournament.  This is their second tournament and their second win. Two for Two.  Fantastic!
  • 11/19: The 7/8th girls Basketball team took 1st place in the Union Catholic Tournament.  Congratulation! 

    VOLLEYBALL (CYO): Fall Season 08

  • 11/22: Congratulations to Saint John's Varsity Black team who took 2nd place in the upper division.   Great Job!
  • 11/22: Congratulations to Both Saint John's  Blue and Gold Varsity teams.  Each of them took third place in the upper and lower brackets respectively.  Nice Job!
  • 11/15: Saint John's "White" Junior Varsity team finished Second in the CYO JV Playoffs.  Nice accomplishment!   

    VOLLEYBALL Tournaments

    • (NJJVL) RISING STAR TOURNAMENT.
  • Reminder that on Saturday March 28 starting at 9:00 AM our JV volleyball teams will be participating in their first ever Rise Star Tournament.   Come join us and cheer on your teams.  The Tournamanent will be held at Pope John Paul III school in Clifton.  Please go to the location's section for directions.

    • (NJJVL):  Christmas Challenge Tournament.
  • 12/06 - Saint John's Volleyball Varsity teams (Blue and Black) played for the first time at the NJJVL Christmas Challange co-ed Tournament.  Competition was fierce, but our girls took 3rd and 4th place respectively out of 6 teams.  Congratulation to them.  Good luck with the Winter season!
    (Our Lady of Peace):  Fall Classic Tournament.
  • 11/15:  Saint John's Varsity Volleyball took first place at the first ever Annual Our Lady of Peace Tournament this weekend.  Our Varsity team played eight games winning all of them to take home the Championship Trophy.   Excellent Job!
