ALL-STATE FOOTBALL TEAM
The Associated Press All-State football team is chosen by a panel of sportswriters from around the state.
Bellevue's J.R. Hasty was named the player of the year for the whole state, regardless of classification. Hasty, the son of former NFL defensive back James Hasty, finished his senior season with 2,519 yards rushing, fifth all-time in state history, and a state-record 50 touchdowns. He also helped the Wolverines win a fourth straight Class 3A state title.
