Rocker for sale
I just recently cut the passenger side rocker panel off of my '71 Jeepster Commando tub. It is a brand new rocker bought from Mark Vilbert of Justjeepsters.com. I purchased it this fall for $65 plus $24 shipping. As noted by pictures, the panel includes the metal lip that attaches to the base of the door jamb, and I also kept the metal rim that extends around the fender and to the rear of the car. The piece is over 9-feet long. I can cut the rocker panel from the rear rim piece and sell separately if you would like.
The metal rim has been repaired with a weld (as seen in the close up pic) near the fender. But I have grinded it smooth and it would only need a little skim. Actually, I was going to hide it away with Rhino-gard coating.
The rocker panel had never been used since I hadn't even put the body back on the frame. I recently found a NOS side panel and replaced the entire side of my Commando.
