In the case of rain, in almost all showcases this size:
"The Tournament Clock never stops"
It is the luck of the draw, meaning that it is un-reasonable to think that we (or anyone else could possible re-due (in the event of rain) the schedule and contact 1000's players & coaches and re-shuffle the tournament.
So here is how it works:
Lets say we get a down poor on Friday at 3:15pm, those games maybe lost, and the teams that are scheduled at 4:45pm should show up. If the fields are still not up yet, those games maybe lost and the teams that are scheduled for 6:15pm should show up and hopefully by then we will have gotten the fields up and running by then. THE GAMES THAT WERE LOST WILL NOT BE MADE UP, there would be no place to put teams, all fields are being used, an in addition there are umpire considerations.
EVERY EFFORT WILL BE MADE TO GET FIELDS UP AND RUNNING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. (we have order 2 palettes of quick dry and have rented pumps)
ALL teams are responsible for check in (personally at the scores tent) in the event of rain.
Please send someone there, The Scorers tent is located at the main complex.
