Seven Statesmen Commit Early
Seven student-athletes have committed at Division I institutions to continue their college careers:

Adam Poole-Indiana University
Troy Jeffers-Air Force Academy
Kevin Kull-Arkansas State
Tyler Evans-Indiana State
Jason Coffey-Youngstown State
Chad Watson-Eastern Illinois University


Burt Makes Eight
Catcher Josh Burt became the 8th LTC Baseball this year, to sign a Division 1 scholarship. Josh signed with Dayton University. He will be playing for former LTC Head Coach Tony Vittorio.

Pestle and Nutt Sign
Chris Pestle has signed a Letter of Intent to play baseball at Ball State University. The All GRAC outfielder hit over .350 for his career while tallying 25 home runs and over 100 rbi's in his 2 years at LTC.

Tommy Nutt has committed to Youngstown State University. Tommy is the second LTC player to commit to YSU. He will be joining fellow Kentuckian Jason Coffey at Youngstown, which is fresh off a berth to the NCAA national tournament. Nutt hit .380 for the Statesmen; he also swiped 17 stolen bases.

Chris and Tommy make the ninth and tenth players to sign a Division 1 scholarship this year.


Doty makes 11
Brent Doty became the 11 Statesmen to join a Division 1 baseball team as he committed to IPFW. Doty was a catcher/infielder from Wawasse, IN.
