RECYCLE -- It's the right thing to do!

231 South Townsend, Ada, Oklahoma 7482
(580) 436-8100

The Ada Recycling Coalition (ARC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer organization that was established in 1991 to improve and increase recycling in Ada by providing education and referral service. ARC provides a forum for networking, encourages local end-markets, and works to create a unified voice for Ada Recyclers.

ARC meets the second Wednesday of each month at noon in the city's west annex conference room. Anyone interested in recycling or solid-waste issues, is invited to attend.

WHY RECYCLE? Recycling is an important way for individuals to reduce solid waste. Landfill overload is a problem. Nearly all materials that enter our landfill could have been recycled. Our responsibility is to help extend the life of our landfill by keeping usable products and recyclables out.

HOW TO RECYCLE -- Recycling is simple! It takes only seconds to separate recyclables from your garbage. This can be done by sorting items into different bins and dropping them off at one of five local recycling centers operated by the City of Ada.
