Mid-Florida Cheer Competition on Saturday 10-24-09 results:
First, THANK-YOU to all the families and coaches that came out to support both our JPW and JM cheer teams. It's great to see and I know all the teams appreciate the fans in the stands!Also, a big THANK-YOU to our Football Coaches that volunteered at the Mid-Florida Cheer Competition in Daytona - Coach Shelton, Coach John, Coach Steve, Coach Adrian and Coach Kenny! You guys are the best!
Jr. Pee Wees, Mid-Florida Cheer Competition, 5th Place!!
JPWs did an amazing job on their routine at the Mid-Florida Cheer Competition! Maybe the best they have performed it all season. It is difficult for the youngest team to compete because many girls have not competed at all and they are just plain young. But our girls channeled their adrenaline and performed like pros. APP is so proud of the girls!

Jr. Midgets, Mid-Florida Cheer Competition, 1st Place!!
Just as the JPWs did, the Jr. Midgets also performed amazing at competition. This year was the year for APP to place and that is exactly what they did. It is a wonderful experience to hear your team name called out in First Place! The girls will now Advance to Regionals at UCF, to perform on the Sunday, 11-29-09, after Thanksgiving. Yes, mark your calendars.

It was an early day for the Tiny Mites starting before 7am. The girls did wonderful. They "owned" their routine by doing it entirely on their own and had fun. They are true Panther cheerleaders rocking our "signature Panther cheer" making them the "best of the best".

Welcome, Mid-Florida Associations, to Colonial High School for the 2nd Annual Tiny Mite/Mitey Mite Cheer Exhibition, 10-18-09!
Colonial's GYM is at the front of the school, so using the 6100 Oleander Dr, Orlando, FL 32807 address will work. Please note: if you have come to the football field to play APP, you can not drive from the main football field to the GYM. You must come to the school's front entrance to get to the GYM.
Parking - GYM parking lot ... as you head toward the school driving down Oleander, the GYM and GYM parking lot is on the right, before you go into the school's main front parking lot.
The following information is per Mid-Florida Conference:
TM/MM: October 18th Colonial High School (Azalea Park Panthers Partner High School)
6100 Oleander Dr, Orlando, FL 32807-3493
Two sessions: Tiny Mites in the morning, Mitey Mites in the afternoon
TM Cheer arrive at 7:30am, Spectators at 8:00am
Please NOTE: Spectators door will not open until 8:00am
MM Cheer arrives at 12:00pm. Spectators at 12:30pm
Please NOTE: Spectators doors will not open until 12:30pm
Ticket Information:Tickets will only be sold at the door.
Ticket prices: Adult $8.00 Child $5.00 per session
All day event ticket: Adult $14.00 Child $8.00
We will only accept CASH at the door.
Cheerleader and Coaches Corner:
The following information is per MID-FLORIDA CONFERENCE:
Cheerleaders will report to the BUS LOOP, no parents will be allowed in the section. Please make sure your entire squad is together before proceeding to the check in line. Only ROSTERED, BADGED, TM or MM coaches will be permitted to enter through the cheerleader doors. (TM can only be there for TM and MM for MM) You will be permitted to bring in ONE backpack per squad containing your BOOK, your music (make sure to bring back up). If you are using your poms you will be permitted to carry a duffle bag containing the poms. Please make sure your cheerleaders bring money with them just in case they want to eat or drink something at the event. No cheerleader will be allowed to move about the building except with a coach. No parent will be allowed to visit the cheer side. At the end of the event all cheerleaders and coaches will exit the building via the bus loop and meet their parents in front of the school.
Spectators Corner:
The following information is per MID-FLORIDA CONFERENCE:
Tiny Mites will perform in the morning. Doors will open at 8:00am. (Please be advised until the doors open there will be no restrooms available) Mitey Mites will perform in the afternoon - doors will reopen at 12:30pm. Cash is the only form of payment at the door. Ticket prices are as follows: Adults $8.00, children $5.00 PER session OR you can purchase an all day event for Adults $14.00 and Children $9.00. Please let the ticket takers know, if you are purchasing an "All Day Event" ticket in the morning when you are purchasing your ticket. We cannot sell an "All Day event" ticket after the fact. There will be flower stand and merchandise area. Credit cards and cash will be accepted at the merchandise stand. Video tapes will be offered and the cost is $40.00 cash or credit card will be accepted. You may bring your digital camera but video cameras are not permitted. No outside food will be permitted in the facility. There will be a full concession stand. Parents are not allowed to visit the cheer side and will be reunited with their cheerleaders immediately following the exhibition in front of the school.

Please remember this is a very stressful time for the girls and coaches! We only get one chance to show off what a wonderful bunch of girls we have at A.P.P. and a 2 minute and 30 second routine goes by very fast. APP is so proud of all the cheerleaders and coaches. They have all learned so much in a short time.
