Playoff Game 2 Around the Corner!
After having played and won an exceptional game against a well matched team, Bear Creek B15, the Mustangs must now take on the Hurricanes for the second time this season. The semi-final round will be this Saturday, Nov. 5 at 2:30PM at field AL-E (Ray W. Ross Park). Please make sure the boys are there and ready to go by 1:00PM. You can get a map and directions by clicking on the "Get Map" icon next to the game listed below.
Practicing Under the Lights!
Due to the beginning of Daylight Savings Time, here is the latest on this week's practice schedule.
Monday and Tuesday: 5:30-7:30 at Redstone under the lights (on the Flatiron baseball field)
Wednesday: game film at the Kark house
Thursday: 5:30-7:30 at Redstone under the lights (on the Flatiron baseball field)
Friday : 5:00-6:00 at Redstone under the lights (on the Flatiron baseball field)
Mustangs Handle Arvada AR26 36-6 in Game Five
Starting the second half of the regular season, the Mustangs played the other Arvada team, AR26 in Arvada. There were several key plays on both sides of the ball. On offense, Justin takes a handoff and has a great straight-arm run in for the TD. To see it click HERE. On defense, Davis strips the ball from their back and runs it in for a TD. Mustangs Shut Out Arvada AR27 at Home
The Mustangs returned home to take on Arvada AR27 at Redstone. The game included consistent play by both offense and defense with defensive TD's helping the team to its 42-0 win. One lineman, Ryan, was given a chance to play running back for a change and take one in for the score. Click HERE to see the video.
Mustangs Win Their Third Outing 28-20
The Mustangs traveled to Thornton for their very early game against North Metro. Despite some tough play by North Metro, the Mustangs managed to hold on to a 28-20 score for the victory. There was some nice passing in the game. These TD passes to Brady (click HERE) and Link (click HERE) were key to the victory.
Mustangs Hammer Golden GA11 in Game Two
The Mustangs got back on track in game two of the season by taking out Golden-Applewood GA11. The Mustangs outscored Golden 56-6. This game was filled with highlights, but a couple of them are shown here. Click HERE to see Danny T's interception for a touchdown. We also have one of our linemen, Longo, scoring a TD from a few yards out. No one even touched him! Click HERE to see this great run!
Video Highlights From Game 1
Although the SJ25 Warriors overtook the Mustangs in a hard-fought game on September 3rd, there were some great highlights for the Mustands as well. I looks like a very promising season for the Mustangs. Click HERE to see a great TD catch by Darryl.
