JHS Booster Poker Tournament

Jackson High School Boosters would like to invite the families of SLAA to participating in a poker fundraising event this Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 6:00 PM. This event will be a Texas Hold 'em Tournament hosted by JHS Boosters. JHS has promised to give any SLAA attendee 2 FREE DRINK TICKETS in thanks for participating in this event.

Concussion Information:
The new law (House Bill 1824), known as the Zackery Lystedt Law, prohibits youth athletes suspected of sustaining a concussion from returning to play without a licensed health-care provider’s approval.

MISSION STATEMENT:
Silver Lake Atheltic Association provides an environment for growth, integrity, guidance, instruction and discipline through youth tackle football and cheerleading.
Established in 1998, SLAA exists to bring a quality youth tackle Football, Arena Football, Lacrosse and cheerleading program for children ages 7 to 14 in the communities of Silver Lake, Silver Firs, Mill Creek and the Greater Everett area. We compete in the
NORTHWEST JUNIOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE
(formerly known as Richmond Junior Football) of North King and South Snohomish counties. Our age and weight chart is designed to keep teams fair, safe and competitive. You'll have the best equipment around - helmet, shoulder pads, jersey, pants and pads.
Silver Lake Football is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations to SLFA are tax-deductible. If you give through United Way, you can designate all or a portion of your contribution to Silver Lake Football.
