Laurens High Baseball
Welcome to the LAURENS HIGH SCHOOL Varsity Baseball website. Thanks for stopping by. Use this site to follow the team thoughout the season.Our updated schedule has been added to the website. The schedule includes scrimmages against defending 3A champions Riverside and 3A runner-ups AC Flora. We will also participate in the Lakelands preseason tournament as well as play two game sets with Hillcrest, Clinton, and Greenwood. Also included is the 10 game region II 4A schedule. This will mark our last year in region II as we will return to region I next year as a result of SCHSL reallignment.

2004 SEASON IS UPON US
The 2003 season is in the books and the 2004 season is upon us. Official pracice starts at 3:45PM Monday Jan 26, 2004 when aspiring high school players all over the state will hit the practice fields. Wont be long before we hear that long awaited call: "PLAY BALL."

Laurens leaves Region II in realignment proposal
On Tuesday, the SCHSL posted its proposal for the two-year period beginning July 2004. Laurens, which just moved into region 2 play this past year, will now play in Region I-4A with teams from Anderson, Pickens, and Greenwood county area.
Mauldin and Hillcrest now move in to play against Dorman, Spartanburg, Byrnes and Boiling Springs.
New alignment for Spring of 2005 baseball season looks like this:
REGION I-4A
Easley, Greenwood, Laurens, T. L. Hanna, Westside, Wren
REGION II-4A
Boiling Springs, Byrnes, Dorman, Hillcrest, Mauldin, Spartanburg
REGION III-4A
Fort Mill, Gaffney, Lancaster, Northwestern, Rock Hill, York

Prescott Named to All-State Team
Two players from AAAA Region 2 were named to the SCBCA AAAA All-State Team: Ryan Howe, Dorman, and Collins Prescott, Laurens.
