History of Somerville High School Baseball
The Baseball team has a long and proud tradition. The team has enjoyed great success over the years winning 20 Greater Boston League Championnships( 1920, 1925, 1935, 1936, 1950, 1951, 1957, 1958, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1969, 1970, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1985, 1987 ), 4 Eastern Massachusetts State Chyampionships( 1941, 1962, 1963, 1965 ) and in 1965 winning the State Title.
