Somerville High School Baseball: Retired Numbers
Jersey retirement represents the ultimate honor for a player. The player's achievements, contribution and performance were so considerable, the team deems them irreplaceable. To mark this honor, no other player will wear their number again

#13 - Joe DiSarcina

One of the schools greatest player and long time coaches Joe DiSarcina was honored as the first member of the SHS Alumni to have his uniform retired. Joe was a member of th teams great run in the 1960's and coached the team to its last Greater Boston League Championship in 1987. was inducted into the Somerville High School's Hall of Fame in 1990.
