September 11th 2001

Today marks the 14th anniversary of September 11th 2001 and all members of the Somerville Alibrandis Baseball Team want to remember all the lives that were lost in New York City, Pennsylvania and Washington DC. Starting in the 2002 season the Somerville Alibrandis Baseball team had adopted the wearing of US Flags on their home and away uniforms and baseball caps and helmets as a symbol of support and remberance. The traditions have carried on every year as we remember the tradgey of 9/11 as a reminder of all those who lost their lives. On today's anniversary of 9/11/2001 our thought and prayers are with the families and friends of the victims.
