Who's That Girl?

	Meet the 2009 SHOX Team

	The SHOX team is set for the ‘09 season I will now begin by telling you the reason. This is our year to bring it to you Sit back and relax and I’ll prove it real soon. First up is the Number - Double 0 Her name is Ashton and she is our hero. She owns center field like no one else Diving and Catching without missing a step. Now I take you to the Number 4 Her name is Valerie and she’ll knock down your door. She plays her position with grace, style, and pride Not to mention hitting the ball with nothing to hide. Bringing you now to the Number 5 This is Megan, making the team come alive. She’s home plate security and our lefty at bat Don’t play her too close, or you’ll be eating your hat. Looking to the one who wears Number 7 Her name is Avery and she’s a gift from Heaven. Don’t be fooled by her little-bitty size She’ll lay down the bunt and make your temperature rise. Now we go to the girl wearing Number 8 Yes, this is Alyssa, the one your team grows to hate. She’s a vacuum on Short and mighty on the Mound You have no chance; you’re team’s goin’ down. Bringing you now to the Number 10 This would be Liza, and she’ll make your head spin. She plays a wicked first base and has a crazy mean bat She’ll crush your pitch and make you wish you’d been sat. Next is the girl who wears Number 11 This is Mariah and she’ll hit to heaven. She’s mastered 3rd base and cleans up our bases Try to pitch around her, and it’ll be in your faces. The one who comes now wears the Number 17 Her name is Katt and she’s full of gleam. She owns the mound first and foremost When you face her feel fear; she’s the one we protect most. Bringing you now to the Number 23 This would be Kelsea, our team’s batting dream. She’ll clean up our bases and gives her whole heart This kid’s really got it, leaving your team feeling un-smart. Now we come to the Number 29 Mackenzie we call her, and she knows how to shine. She will put you to shame with her bunting perfection Your team will be out there, with no sense of direction. Here we go now with Number 30 This girl’s name is Lexi; she knows how to get dirty. She’s the one we can play, no matter she’s where needed She’ll leave your team knowing why they’re defeated. Bringing you now to our coaches and leaders We have Coaches Amanda, Shannon, Lee, and David. They study the game and expect the best So the SHOX of ’09 can put you to the test. With God as the Manager and His guidance so true SHOX 2009 will bring it to you. We will play with our passion and our love of the game This you are promised, our determination unchanged So there you have it, the SHOX team of ‘09 You’ll hear our team chant in the back of your mind. Owning the game no matter where we go, That’s right, it’s us, SHOX – YOU KNOW
