Showdown Tournaments has secured room blocks for all out-of-town teams participating in each of our tournaments. As a condition of acceptance, all out-of-town teams must reserve rooms through Showdown Tournaments and stay in an authorized host hotel. Please keep in mind that Showdown Tournaments has negotiated a group block rate, which may or may not be better than an individual rate. The host hotels are contracting their rooms to Showdown Tournaments based upon a required room revenue rate for their hotel, which considers supply and demand at their respective hotel and the surrounding hotels during that time of year, as well as rising inflationary prices. Teams cannot negotiate their own price with the hotel and will forfeit their tournament games if detected. Please do not contact hotels directly as team reservations must be made using the rooming lists provided in the tournament application. Rooming lists must be completed and returned to Showdown Tournaments by the tournament deadline along with the other required tournament application forms. Space in many of the tournament hotels is limited and rooming blocks will be assigned based upon the time stamp and date of your completed application in the order received. Showdown Tournaments receives many requests from teams within the same organization wishing to stay together in a single hotel. We make every effort to accommodate these requests and early receipt of completed applications from all teams will facilitate our efforts. The hotels listed below represent the host hotels for this year. Once Showdown Tournaments has completed hotel arrangements it will send the teams a list of host hotels to choose from. Teams are required to provide their choice hotels in ranking order. This will occur about one months prior to the tournament. Once this process is completed, Showdown Tournaments will submit all team rooming list to the host hotels. The host hotels will contact you to introduce themselves and provide your team room confirmations. The hotels do this approximately 3-4 weeks before the tournament. All room changes must be completed two weeks prior the tournament date. |
CRABTOWN SHOWDOWN HOTELS (LAUREL/ANNAPOLIS MARYLAND)
Loews Annapolis Hotel

Special Tournament Rate $119 plus hotel taxes and $8 self parking (valet parking is available for $16 per day. The Loews does not have an indoor, but does offer all hockey guests use of hospitality rooms during their stay and areas for the kids to play shinny hockey. The Loews is located in the heart of the historic district of Annapolis, and offers teams the opportunity and convenience to a wealth of nearby attractions and activities which are all within walking distance. The Chesapeake Bay, City Dock, the State Capital, the U.S. Naval Academy, lots of antique shopping, and locally owned restuarants are in close proximity to the Loews Annapolis Hotel. The Loews is 35 minute drive from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore. The Loews from the rinks is approximately 30 minutes to the Gardens Ice House Rink in Laurel, MD and 5 minutes to the Brigade Sports Complex in Annapolis, MD. |

Special Tournament Rate $115 plus hotel taxes (rate includes free parking). The Sheraton has an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, and a hospitality suite for the hockey teams to use during their stay. The Sheraton an upscale full-service hotel and conference center located minutes from the heart of Annapolis, the US Naval Academy, State Capitol, and directly accross from the Annapolis Mall (shopping, restaurants, and movie theatres). The Sheraton is about 25 minutes from Washington, DC and Baltimore. From the rinks, the Sheraton is about 25 minutes to the Gardens Ice House in Laurel, MD and 5 minutes from the Brigade Sports Complex in Annapolis, MD. |

Special Tournament Rate $117 plus hotel taxes (includes free parking). The Holiday Inn has a beautiful and relaxing indoor swimming pool. They have also provided hospitality rooms for our guest to use during the tournament. The Holiday Inn is a full service hotel, which provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Also directly conntected to the Holiday Inn is the Outback Steakhouse. The Holiday Inn is approximately 20 minutes from Washington, DC and Baltimore. From the rinks, the Holiday Inn is about 3 minutes from the Gardens Ice House in Laurel, MD and 30 minutes from the Brigade Sports Complex in Annapolis, MD. |
