DIVISION DESCRIPTION

4

Four teams makeup one division.  Each team plays each other once for a total of three regular tournament games.  Based on these games the 1^st and 2^nd place teams advance to final game.  The other two teams do not advance.

Five teams makeup one division. Each team plays two regular tournament games.  Based on these games, the 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place teams advance to the semi-final games.  The 4^th and 5^th place teams play a quarter-final game to determine which team advances to the semi-final game.  The teams advancing to the semi-finals, the 1^st place team plays the winner of the quarter final 4^th vs 5^th and the 2^nd place team plays the 3^rd place team.  The teams winning the semi-final games advance to play each other in the final game.

Six teams makeup one division. Each team plays two regular tournament games.  Based on these games, the 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd,  and 4^th place teams advance to the semi-final games.  The 5^th and 6^th place teams play a third game as a consolation game.  The teams advancing to the semi-finals, the 1^st place team plays the 4^th place team and the 2^nd place team plays the 3^rd place team.  The teams winning the semi-final games advance to play each other in the final game

Seven teams makeup one division.  Each team plays two regular tournament games.  Based on these games the 1^st place team advances directly to the semi-finals.  The other teams play a quarter final round, where 2^nd place vs 7^th place, 3^rd place vs 6^th place, and 4^th place vs 5^th place.  The winners of the quarter finals advance to the semi-finals, where the winner of the 4^th vs 5^th place plays the 1^st place team and the winner of the 2^nd vs 7^th plays the winner of the 3^rd vs 6^th.  The winners of the semi-finals advance to the final game.

Eight teams makeup two divisions (A&B) where each division consists of four teams.  The teams in division A or B will play each other once for a total of three regular tournament games.  The top two teams from each division advance to the semi-finals where the 1^st place team from Division A plays the 2^nd place team from Division B and the 2^nd place team from Division A plays the 1^st place team from Division B.  The other two teams from each division do not advance.  The teams winning the semi-final games advance to the final game.

Nine teams makeup one division.  Each team plays two regular tournament games.  Based on these games the 8^th and 9^th place teams play a third game to determine which team advances to the quarter-finals. The teams in the quarter finals, the 1^st place team plays the winner of the 8^th vs 9^th, game, the 2^nd place vs 7^th place, 3^rd place vs 6^th place, and 4^th place vs 5^th place.  The winners of the quarter finals advance to the semi-finals.  The teams in the semi-finals, the winners of the 1^st vs 8^th/9^th game plays winner of 4^th vs 5^th game, while the winner of the 2^nd vs 7^th game plays winner of 3^rd vs 6^th game.  The winners of the semi-finals advance to the final game.

Ten teams makeup one division.  Each team will play two regular tournament games.  Based on these two games teams will be placed in 1^st through 10^th place.  The 1^st through 8^th place teams advance to the quarter-finals and the 9^th and 10^th place teams to the consolation.  In the quarter final round the teams will play as follows: 1^st vs 8^th; 2^nd vs 7^th; 3^rd vs 6^th; and 4^th vs 5^th.  The winners of these games advance to the semi-finals games where the winning teams will be ranked 1^st through 4^th .based upon the result of their two regular and quarter final games.  The 1^st place team will play the 4^th place team and the 2^nd place team will play the 3^rd place team.  The winners of the semi-final games advance to the final game.  As for the consolation game this is the final game played by the 9^th and 10^th place teams
