Team News:  PONY Firecracker Classic Results

The team played up in the 16U division during this annual tournament sponsored by the Baseliners held at Potomack Lakes Sportsplex.  The Shooting Stars were ranked number 2 out of 12 teams going into the elimination bracket with intermittent light rain on Sunday morning.  Despite their fiery and somewhat gritty pool play on Saturday, the Shooting Stars couldn't bring all of the components of their game together during their first contest of the day to overcome an early lead by the Xplosion. See game scores below:

The Shooting Stars are off this weekend and will return to play in the 16U division of the USSSA Blue Gray Shootout in Laurel, MD on July 11th and 12th.

This week we thought we'd give a little shout out to those on the mound and behind the plate!!!  Due to conflicting high school and travel game schedules, we've had players step up in a big way for the team and we appreciate it :) !!

The Ashburn Shooting Stars Black 14U are a girls fast pitch tournament softball team from Loudoun County Virginia. They are affiliated with the Ashburn Girls Softball League (AGSL) in Ashburn, VA. The goal of our organization is to help young female athletes develop their softball skills at a highly competitive level while learning about teamwork and sportsmanship.
