Sho-me Heat takes Bronze at 2003 Show-me Games 19 & over!
The Sho-me Heat 18U team went to the Show-me State Games, Aug 1-3rd, and played in 19 over Division I, with mostly College Teams. The team went 4-1 for the weekend, with the only loss being to Columbia College, who went on to the to win the Championship game, beating Southwest Baptist University. The HEAT tied for 3rd, along with the Tigers (Mizzou), both taking home the Bronze (because they did not let us play it out). Colleges represented at the games were, Lindenwood, Culver-Stockton, Hannibal La-Grange, Maryville University, Central Methodist College, NWMSU, MVC, SLU & WashU. Some teams were mixtures of College Athletes. The Final Eight out of 29 teams were: Sho-me Heat, Drury, Columbia College, CMSU, William Woods, C.O.P.S, SBU, & Tigers. Congrats to the Heat, who within one weeks period, went 9-1!!
