Fall Ball 2007 & '08 Summer "A" Tryouts
SHERWOOD FASTPITCH /(FIREBALL) TRYOUTS

The Sherwood Fast Pitch Association, home of the Sherwood Fireballs, is having their annual tryouts in August. The Fireballs fielded tournament teams at the 10B, 12A, 12B, 14A, 14B and 16A levels in 2007. Our "A" teams strive to compete at the highest level and have sent several teams to the ASA National Tournaments over the years.

The Sherwood Fast Pitch Association will be conducting tryouts for 12U and 14U on Saturday August 11th. 10U and 16U tryouts will be on Sunday August 12th. All tryouts will be held at Sherwood High School. Registration for the tryouts will begin 30 minutes prior to schedule start time. If you would like to tryout for one of the teams, but cannot attend the schedule time, please contact one of the e-mails below to schedule a makeup, or to answer any questions:

The 2008 summer “A” teams we will be selected at these tryouts and will be playing together this Fall and the Summer of 2008. For all of the other age groups we may reevaluate in the spring.

FYI: The way you determine the age group your daughter plays in is roughly as follows: the age your daughter is on January 1st of the year you are participating in ASA is the age group she will play in. (i.e. If your daughter turns 11 on January 2nd she still would be eligible to play in U10 (note-she could play U12 if her skills so warrant). We would recommend your daughter play fall ball at the age level she will play in the summer of 2007.
