The attached files contain tournament information for the Fireballs 14A Tournament being held May 12 and May 13th at Sherwood High School.

The Tournament Director will be Larry Oenning.

Please note that the attached rules and the tourney format has been modified from the usual Fireballs 12 tourney team format as we are accommodating 14 teams for this weekend. With only three official fields and no Friday games, squeezing 14 teams into our complex was a challenge. Please be accepting to the modified tournament format as we felt it was important to allow 14 quality teams into this tourney. We realize that two games are played on a "short field" and that pool play results will be established even though teams will not play everyone else in their pool. (Note everyone still has a shot at winning the tourney come Sunday morning!) Please communicate to your parents these format changes to help prevent any misunderstandings or complications that this weekend's format may cause.

Also Managers please advise your parents that NO PETS, alcohol and tobacco are allowed on school grounds.

This is an early season tournament---let's encourage good athletic play, fun and great sportsmanship.
