Shenendehowa Swimming and Diving: In The News: Newsletter

Monday, January 28
Hard to believe, but Sectionals are less then 3 weeks away!!  Very important right now that the boys continue to eat healthy, balance out their other commitments,  and especially that they are getting lots of rest!  Another really nicely ran home meet on Thursday pushed us to 9-0 with some great momentum for the tail end of the season.  Congratulations to Ryan Gordon on breaking an 8 year old School Record in the 100 Breaststroke and being the first swimmer in Shenendehowa History to break 1:00 in the 100 Breaststroke!!  Below is all of the information for the upcoming week, please let me know if you have any questions/concerns, thank you all for your continued support!!

Practice Schedule

Monday: Practice 3-6

Tuesday: Away meet @ Burnt Hills (Swimmers); Divers Practice 3-6

Wednesday: Practice 3-6

Thursday: Away meet @ Schenectady

Friday: Practice 3-6

Saturday: Diving Meet @ Shen 12-5:30

Meet Schedule
Both of our dual meets are away this week, please wear Green and sit together to support our boys for both meets!  The Divers will be practicing at Shen on Tuesday in lieu of attending the meet since Burnt Hills does not have a diving board.
Saturday is the final 11 Dive Meet @ Shen from 12-5:30.  We do not need any parents to work the meet :)
Car Wash Money
Please be sure that the car wash money is turned in today if you forgot it on Friday.
Team Suits
We will be ordering team suits for Sectionals within the next week.  We are working hard on getting a final price available.  Please remember that per the Parent Handbook ALL swimmers participating in Sectionals are required to purchase a new suit.  The discounted option will be available to everyone, but is not mandatory for those swimmers not participating in Sectionals.  We will let those swimmers know after Thursday's meet.
