To register and participate in a local Little League®, the child must legally reside within the boundaries of that League and be “League Age” to participate in the current season.  Proof of date of birth (viewing of an original or certified copy of their government-issued birth certificate) and residence (three varied proof of residence documents such as a drivers' license, vehicle registration and utility bill) are required viewing prior to a child participating.  All volunteers working directly with the children are required to complete a Volunteer Application and show a government-issued photo i.d. for a Background and Sex Offender Registry Check through Lexis/Nexis® and Little League®.   Most leagues hold registrations on specific dates in late January through mid-March.

Little League® does not limit participation in its activities on the basis of disability, race, color, creed, national origin, gender, sexual preference or religious preference ... and will not turn any child away for lack of or limited funds.
