A NEW ERA FOR SHELDON FASTPITCH
The 2005 season marked the rebirth of Sheldon fastpitch softball. An entirely new coaching staff welcomed a large contingent of talented freshmen to a returning core of players - the result was winning records for both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams for the first time in several years. The Varsity lost out on a playoff spot on the last day of the season due to league tie-breaker rules. Having lost only one player to graduation, expectations are high for the Irish in 2006.
