Our eight Sheldon area teams appear t be very competitive this season.  It is sure fun to see the kids finally put on the pads and get after it.

We are currently seeking sponsorships to hel support our mission.  If you know a business that can offer a corporate sponsor please email us.   Sheldon Pop Warner - the momentum is building!  Be a part of building from the ground up!

Here are the teams, coaches and their roster size as of 8/10/09:

Rob Comer Memorial Fund:  Scholarships are available for Sheldon area players who would otherwise be unable to participate in Pop Warner Football due to financial reasons. The scholarships are funded by the Rob Comer endowment fund.  Rob was a Pop Warner coach who lost his life to cancer on June 1, 2009, after battling the disease for four courageous years.  The impact Rob had on kids is immeasurable, and it is our desire to continue the spirit of giving to kids for many years to come.  Contact any coach or Sheldon Board member if you have any questions.  Any Businesses or individuals wishing to contribute to this fund should contact the Sheldon Pop Warner Board.

Sheldon Board Scholarships:  The Sheldon Pop Warner Board has scholarships available for Sheldon area players who are in need of financial assistance. These scholarships are intended to help families who need a little assistance.  To qualify families must show that they are signed up for free/reduced lunch (25% discount) or the Oregon Medical Plan (50% discount).

Treat all participants with respect, let the players play, let the coaches coach, let the officials officiate, positively support your team, know the rules of the game, pursue victory with honor, win with class and lose with dignity, practice the Golden Rule, model good sportsmanship!
