Machine Pitch
A new program for the purpose of preparing the kids for the minor league program. Games in machine pitched are scored and a tournament will follow at the end of the season. Boys and Girls play in the same league, but on different teams.
Coach Pitch
A child's first experience into baseball/softball at Shaw Heights is in Coach Pitch. All games are 2 innings long and an inning is defined as every child batting from each team.
The purpose of Coach Pitch is to teach the child the rules of the game and most importantly the meaning of good sportsmanship.
