CURRENT FIELD CONDITIONS
All the fields at Andrew Bailey Park will be closed to all team and individual practices. Coweta County will begin some preliminary construction work on the recently approved overall ball park expansion. Due to safety concerns and limited access within the park resulting from the overall limits of construction, open utility cuts, and the construction equipment left at the park, the fields will be closed for the remainder of the fall and winter months. The park will re-open in mid February to the regularly scheduled team practices. Sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause, but we are looking forward to the progress that will be made on the expansion and improvments being made at Andrew Bailey Park.
NOTE: When the fields are open for practices/games - Coaches with the late practice or games are responsible for leveling off all areas around the four bases and pitchers mound as well as the bullpen.
Remember it takes hours to get the fields in tip top shape and only a few minutes to destroy all the hard work. Please use good judgment when using the fields throughout the year. Do NOT practice on the fields when they are wet or when the park is closed. Make sure that all the areas around the four bases and the pitcher's mound are leveled off if you have the late game or practice of the day. Members from BOTH the home team and visiting team are responsible for assisting in the upkeep of the field. Any team that does not participate in their scheduled day to day upkeep of the fields will lose their practice privileges.
