Riverview Shark Baseball: Welcome

  

      The Sharks came away with two wins this weekend of Wiregrass Pre-Season Classic beating Sunlake Friday night 14-6, and Eaglesview Academy 8-0 on Saturday.  The Shark hitters were geared up for the opening season pounding out 25 hits in two games with 8 doubles and 3 home runs.  The sharks were lead at the plate by Jr. outfielder/pitcher Dakota Moritz who was 5-6 and a HR against Eaglesview.  The first game vs Sunlake was blown open by a Kurt Engert home run in the first, and a Grand Slam in the second by Justin Rose.  In todays game vs Eagles View 4 shark pitchers combine for a no hit, shoutout bid game with Drawdy, Engert, Moritz, and Zach Row taking the mound. The game vs Eaglesview was highlighted by Dylan Drawdy who retired 9 hitters in a row with six punch outs.  Next week the Sharks take on Lennard Tuesday night at Lennard with a 7:00 start time.
