The election of the Board for the Sacred Heart Athletic Association was held at the November meeting on 11/12/09.  The following individuals were elected to the board for the 2010 and 2011 calendar years.

We wish to thank the retiring Board Members for their dedication and service to SHAA - Mike Barger, Phil Brewer, and Amy Earley.

Congratulations to Sacred Heart School for winning another State Fitness Award.  The President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports has awarded Sacred Heart the Physical Fitness State Champion Award for the 2007-2008 school year.

Sacred Heart is one of two schools in Missouri to be recognized with this award.  This is the third time Sacred Heart has been presented this award in the past four years. 

All students in the 1st through 8th grade participated in a variety of physical fitness tests.  Sacred Heart had the highest percentage of students finish in the 85th percentile or higher.

Our congratulations go to the students and Mrs. Schriever on this tremendous honor.

Congratulations to Tom Connelly, the first recipient of the "Tom Connelly Service Award".

Tom was presented this award during Mass at the parish festival and carnival on Saturday.  His service and committment to Sacred Heart through the Athletic Association has been a great example to all of us.

Thanks to Tom for making the Sacred Heart Athletic programs the best in the South-Central District and CYC as a whole.

All adult volunteers and employees working with children MUST attend one of these workshops. This includes all coaches, assistant coaches, umpires, officials, and parent helpers for all sports and parish activities.

Pre-registration is required, call Denise Davis in the Parish Office for details and class times. If you can't attend one of the Sacred Heart sessions, you may attend any other parish's session, which are listed on the Archdiocese' website.
