SHREWSBURY GIRLS YOUTH LACROSSE (SGYL) REGISTRATION

           IS NOW OPEN FOR THE SPRING 2012 SEASON!!!

   FEE:  $175 FOR ALL AGES LEVELS, 3RD THROUGH 8TH GRADE

Registration will be open through Friday, February 17, 2012 or until the teams are full.

BREAKDOWN OF TEAMS:

3/4 Grade --- 1 teams (15 player maximum, 1 PLAYER SPOTS LEFT)

5/6 Grade --- 2 teams (20 player maximum per team, TEAMS FULL)

***7/8 Grade --- 2 team (18 player maximum per team, 6 PLAYER SPOTS LEFT)

*** PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE A 2ND 7/8 GRADE TEAM ..... WAITLIST HAS BEEN LIFTED

SGYL plays an 8 game season (4 home games/4 away games). Games are on Sunday afternoons between 12noon-6pm beginning on Sunday, April 15, 2012 through Sunday, June 10, 2012 (no Memorial Day weekend games). All home games are played at Oak MS Football Field.

PRACTICES:

Indoor practices will begin mid March; days, times & venues TBD. Outdoor practices are held at Oak MS Football Field on Monday and Wednesdays typically with the following schedule (this schedule will begin when the Town of Shrewsbury opens the fields):

3/4 Grade; 4:30-5:30pm practice

5/6 Grade; 5:30-6:30pm practice

7/8 Grade; 6:30-7:30pm practice

FEES:

Included in the $175 player fee:

$25 US Lacrosse Insurance (per player)

$15 Town of Shrewsbury Field Fee (per player)

$175 Team Registration with MBGLL (per team)

$100 per game ref fee (Adult ref & Jr. ref per game)

$50-$250 Indoor field space (Schools $50 per hour, Turf $250 per hour)

$3000 misc. fees include (goalie equipment, field paint & equipment, website yearly contract, free registration for Head Coach's daughters)

***NEW PLAYERS ONLY: Are an additional $40 and I will take sizes at the 1st couple of practices.
