  Welcome

Welcome to the S-Games website!

This is the website I will use to keep everybody informed of past and future S-Games challenges.  Any clues as to what/when/and where the next challenge is will also be on this website, hopefully at the same time every week.  Have fun and good luck!

What are the S-Games?

The S-Games are a series of challenges performed by a certain number of contestants.  The teams or individuals who win a challenge also achieve "immunity".  The team or individuals who are not "immune" have one or more people eliminated.  For example, last season we began with 20 contestants and our first challenge was kickball.  The team that won the challenge was immune and the team that lost had one person eliminated, so we were down to 19 contestants.  Our second challenge was dodgeball, and the team that lost also lost a player, so we were at 18 contestants, and so forth until one contestant remained.  All remaining contestants put $5 towards the grand prize at every challenge.  Last season (beginning with 20 contestants) our S-Games Champion won $1000 and second place left with $95.  The more contestants we have, the bigger the prize money.

Our challenges are not always based of physical attributes.  I try to mix it up equally between athletic, intelligent, creative, and just fun challenges.  The longer you are in the S-Games, the greater the chance you will do something you have never done before.  Last season's challenges included:  Kickball,  Dodgeball,  Volleyball,  The Amazing Race,  Name That Tune,  Family Feud,  Sand Sculpture Building,  Newlywed Game, Trivia, plus many more!

I am now accepting registration for this year's S-Games.  We will compete on Sunday evenings (probably 4:00 pm) beginning on Oct 21st.  We will probably have 17 challenges with the finale to be held tentatively near the end of June.  We will probably not compete on the weekends of Easter and Mother's Day.  Money due at registration is $14 which includes the first two challenges at $5 a piece (you will always be paid one challenge in advance) and $2 per challenge S-Game fee to help defray some of the costs I incur.  We will usually compete in the Sandusky/Huron Ohio area.  If you have any questions, you can email me at sgames2@yahoo.com

Tenative Schedule Available

I have posted a schedule under the calendar link to your left.  Keep in mind that we work really hard to make sure everybody can participate.  We could change times or even specific dates if a certain day doesn't work for you.  Basically, the calendar is set but it is not set in stone.  I am also aware that I have 2 "Challenge 5's" listed.  I did that on purpose because that gives me the opportunity to cancel a week and still have the right number of challenges.
