The first day of Eastern Nationals has seen 3 out of 5 Spring-Ford wrestlers advance to the second day. Matty Krieble is still alive in the championship bracket and will wrestle in the semi-finals. He is guaranteed top 6 place winner.
Sean Hennessey and Jesse Quave have won 2 matches and lost 1 so they are in the consolation semi-finals and are battling back. They are guaranteed top 8 place winners, but can get up to 3rd with good performance on Sunday.
Tyler Gradowski and a late addition Frankie Krauss both went 1 and 2 on the first day and are out of competition. Great effort by all Spring-Ford wrestlers.
Kyle Duffy did not make the trip.
Congratulations to all wrestlers that have participated in MAWA District and Regional tournaments and especially those who have qualified for the MAWA Eastern National tournament in Salisbury, MD on May 3rd and 4th. Team Revolution Wrestling Club started Monday, March 31, 2008!
Monday’s & Wednesday’s from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Spring-Ford 9th Grade Auxiliary Gymnasium
March 31st to June 11th (11 weeks of training)
Grades 5-12(wrestlers under 5th grade will need to be referred by the Head Youth Coach) *The cost of the club will be $100.00 for wrestlers without a USA Wrestling Card. The USA wrestling card can be purchased at the sign up for $30.00. Every participant must purchase a USA Wrestling card! *The cost for wrestlers with a USA Wrestling Card is $70.00. Checks can be made payable to The Revolution Wrestling Club.

Sign-ups are over, however you can still register at practice. Print out a form or we'll have some available. Registration forms can be downloaded by clicking on Handouts on the left. There is a registration packet to download as well.
Practice starts October 23rd at the Spring-Ford 9th Grade Center. Please enter Door #22. When you enter the 9th grade parking lot, go to the right and park there.
We have a wrestling shoes and head gear exchange system. If you have shoes that are too small bring them in and exchange them for ones that fit. Or consider donating your old shoes if you are getting a new pair. Thanks!

Congratulations to Kyle Duffy who competed in the prestigious SJWA/VAC Middle School National Challenge Duals in Wildwood, NJ. Kyle wrestled for SJWA Lightning and was part of a National Championship team. Kyle went 9-2 individually on the weekend, while the team was undefeated at 11-0.
