National League
Baseball for players 11-12 years of age. The National League is for players with more experience; 12 year olds play here. If a player signs up for the National League and is not selected by a National League Team, the player will be drafted by an American League team. Evaluation Requirement: ALL players are required to attend evaluations for placement onto a team. Please note that players only need to attend one of the evaluation sessions. This league is structured to be competitive. Participants will play in regular season games as well as post-season games. Stealing and bunting skills will be introduced. Players will pitch the entire game. Evaluation Requirement: Players new to the Major league or not returning to a team are required to attend evaluations for placement onto a team. Please note any player required to attend evaluations will only need to attend one of the evaluation sessions. This league is structured to be semi-competitive. Participants will play games as well as have assigned practices throughout the season. This league will provide continued development of fielding, batting, and base running skills. In addition, pitching and sliding skills will be introduced. Players will pitch the entire game. Evaluation Requirement: Players new to the Junior league or not returning to a team are required to attend evaluations for placement onto a team. Please note any player required to attend evaluations will only need to attend one of the evaluation sessions. Participants will play in scrimmage games as well as have assigned practices throughout the season. The coaches will pitch in the games. Evaluation Requirement: No evaluations are held at this level. Players age 7 are required to play in this program before moving on. Players age 8 may play in this program if additional instruction would benefit the player. Regular baseball is played.
