REGISTRATION UPDATE:

All registrations at the Somerdale Community Center are completed. Anybody who has not registered yet, please do so at the winter clinics.

Monday's

6:00 - 7:05   Boy's Pitching Camp - 11 & under

7:10 - 8:15   Boy's Pitching Camp - 12 & over

8:20 - 9:30   Boy's Juniors (ages 13 - 15)

Wednesday's

6:00 - 7:05   Boy's Coach Pitch (ages 7 & 8)

7:10 - 8:15   Boy's Minors (ages 9 & 10)

8:20 - 9:30   Boy's Majors (ages 11 & 12)

Thursday's

WANTED: Baseball and Softball Managers 

If you want to be a manger in the spring of 2012, please download and fill out the 2012 coaching application, and return it to Keith Badey at kbadey0969@yahoo.com. We will be choosing the managers a little earlier than we have in the past, so they can help out during the winter clinics. The application can be found in the handouts section of this website.  

WANTED: Umpires 

If you are interested in umpiring games, either softball or baseball, please contact Keith Badey at kbadey0969@yahoo.com. We are looking for people 16 years old and up to do games behind the plate, and will allow kids 14 & 15 years old to work the bases. You will be paid on a per game basis and will be trained prior to the season. An excellent opportunity to earn some extra cash.

NEXT MEETING: Is now SUNDAY FEBRUARY 12th at 7pm instead of Wednesday February 8th at 7pm.

All meetings in 2012 will be on the 2nd Wednesday of each month

All meetings are in the clubhouse above the snack stand or community center and anyone is welcome to attend.

The board decided at last nights meeting (11/13/11) to establish the following committees for the 2012 season:

Bond Redemption Requirements: (the way's you can recover your bond money)

Work 3 nights at the snack stand

Drag the fields with the tractor after games (one night a week for entire season) 

Umpire 3 games 

Manage a team (it only applies to the manager, not assistant coaches)

We do have some other odd jobs (limited) that can be done as well, contact a board member for more information.
