  • What age can my son or daughter start playing Little League @ South Fort Myers?
    • Spring Season @ SFMLL has a 4 year old T-ball program.
    • Fall Season @ SFMLL has a 5 year old Grapefruit program.
  • What time of year is SFMLL active in baseball?
    • Our Spring Season begins in February with Early Registration beginning in December of each year.
    • Our Fall Season begins in September and ends just prior to Thanksgiving with Registration beginning just after summer break of each year.
  • What division will my child play in?
    • 4 Year Old T-Ball League (Age 4)
    • T-Ball League (Age 5)
    • Grapefruit League (Ages 6 -8)
    • Minor League (Ages 8 - 12 depending on ability) 12 year olds may not pitch at this level. Instructional.
    • Major League (Ages 9 - 12) Mandatory Tryout. Competitive.
    • Junior League (Ages 13 - 14)
    • Senior League (Ages 15 - 16) Play is on different schedule due to High School ball.
    • All Star League
      • 9 Year Old All Stars
      • 9 - 10 Year Old All Stars (May win and continue through District, Sectional, State and Regionals)
      • 10 - 11 Year Old All Stars (May win and continue through District, Sectional and State)
      • 12 Year Old All Stars or Little League All Stars (May win and continue through District, Sectional, State, Regional and World Series in Williamsport, PA)
      • Junior All Stars (May win and continue through District, Sectional, State, Regional and World Series in Taylor, MI)
  • How do I know which Little League I belong to?
    • Follow our "My Site News" tab and click on the boundary map. Then determine if you live within the red SFMLL boundary area.
  • What do I need to bring to register?
    • We require a birth certificate for proof of age and 3 proofs of residence.
  • What date does my child have to be of age by for the season?
    • Please click on the following link to determine your child's "League Age" .
  • How much does it cost?
    • A fee schedule is available upon registration.
  • Is there a sibling discount?
    • No. Our registration cost is already at a discount through various fundraisers throughout the year.
  • What kind of time commitment does it require to play?
    • Each division has a different level of commitment, however it is up to each manager to determine the team schedule.
