Dear Prospective Member;
The Texas Amateur Football League (TAFL) is an amateur league at its very
best - executed in a Major League Way! The TAFL, established in 2002, is an
organization setup to offer full-contact, recreational football at the adult
level. The TAFL's goal is to allow players to compete in a local, organized
and competitive league and enjoy the game of football past the high school
and/or collegiate level. The season for the Texas Amateur Football League
(TAFL) begins in March and ends with the Armadillo Bowl in June. League
Registration begins November 8, 2003 and ends February 2, 2004. The TAFL is
designed to bring together the most organized and professional teams in San
Antonio and the surrounding areas to form a competitive and organized
football league. The TAFL is made up of players from all background and
experiences. The TAFL is headquartered in San Antonio, TX. The TAFL will
offer the teams a respectable and organized league to be proud to be part
of. By doing so the league will flourish and become something the teams and
San Antonio can be proud of. For this to become a reality, It's going to
take every player and every team to pull together for the betterment of the
league.
The TAFL first goal is to provide our fans with the most exciting sporting
environment possible at the best value for your dollar. Our program is
dedicated to being competitive making this a great event for the whole
family. TAFL helps all members of our program advance to the levels in the
sport they wish to reach and are willing to be dedicated to get there. The
TAFL promotes the advancement the sport of Amateur League Football. By
raising the level of organization, competition, and marketing we will help
bring Amateur League Football to the national spotlight as a major player in
both developing of athletes as well as being a productive business.
Please join us at the 2K4 Kick-Off Mixer on November 8, 2004. Location for
the mixer is Grady's Bar-b-Que. at 6510 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio, TX
78216. The fun begins at 6 PM. Come by to get information about the new
league in town. The TAFL is looking for teams and officials. Visit

Howdy ya'll. I was the QB for the Rhinos a couple of years ago and was wondering if ya'll are looking for any players this spring. I would prefer to play QB if you have an opening. E-mail me and let me know when you will start practice and when. Thanks
