SEVLL

It has been with great joy that my husband and I have had the chance to meet and serve some of the kids and parents and in Edgewater, New Smryna Beach and Oak Hill. We probaly want stay away from the game's because that is our second home or, maybe even first home at times. My husband has served for SEVLL for the last four years. First year was just begging for people to support us along with Bill Lachanel, second year was Player agent, and the last two he served as President and brougth home a District 19 banner from the help of Jrs. coach Tony Soponick and some of the best players we ever had. In my heart I hope that my son will continue baseball and grow and learn more and more about the game. To every parent, sponsor, volunteer and baseball player, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR INPUT. We all know it takes team work and not just one person to get the job done. WE ARE VERY PROUD TO HAVE BEEN A PART OF THIS GREAT ORGANIZATION.

Thank you
Tracie Penning

Go Southeast Volusia!   Baseball has such great memories. One of my best players was a 12 year old pitcher I had back in the 1980's who would take a miniature 'GI Joe' action figure to the mound and place it next to his feet when he pitched (for good luck I suppose--we did win a title that year). But the weird part is that the other teams just laughed. Nobody ever complained about the toy.

Have a terrific season!
Best regards from Rick Fishman, author of Sandlot Summit, the funniest youth baseball story ever.
