2005 Fundraising Information
Mike Page, our Fundraising Chairperson has been doing a fabulous job with the fundraising.
Activities this year so far have included:
- Tag Days (2)
- Rumours Comedy Night
- Garage Sale
- To-Le-Do Foods

Other events being considered:
- Car Wash/BBQ
- Another Garage Sale

Any ideas and fundraising volunteers are most welcome.

The rain date for the Golf Tournament is September 12. Thank you to the organizers, golfers, and prize donators for your contribution to our major annual fundraising event. The forecast is good for this one!

Players are encouraged to head out to Kingswood to help out, and also to thank the participants for their support.

We've Reached Our Nationals TARGET
MANY MANY THANKS to so many organizations, people, and families for their contributions to our fundraising goal. We are thrilled to announce that as of Sun Oct 5, we have reached our goal, and all 18 girls, and 5 team staff are travelling to Halifax at no additional cost to our parents!

BUT don't anyone ask me to sell even ONE MORE of anything!

This Saturday (Aug 23), 10am - 2pm approximately, car wash and hot dog day at McNaught's (one of our major sponsors) on Waverley. Girls to be there in "team" attire (red shirt, black shorts) 9:30am. Bring a bucket if you can.

SEU Giant Garage Sale!
To be held at Roblin Park Community Centre Saturday September 20, 9am - 1pm. We will also have food, drinks.

IGA Hot Dog Day
To be held at IGA on September 27. 10:30am-6pm. We will require parents to run while the girls are at soccer. (10:30-2:00).

Wine Raffle
Fred has located a wine donor (similar to an organ donor?) - for our wine raffle. Draw will be held Sept 27. Suggested donation $5/ticket.

Used Book Sale
We have a good source who will buy quality used books. Please contact Pages and arrange drop off prior to September 19. Those that are not purchased by the book dealer will be sold at the Garage Sale.

BBQ at WSSD Soccer Playoffs
Grant Park - Sat Oct 4 10:30 - 6pm

Fundraising at Premier City Finals
Oct 4&5 weekend - donations will be collected and split between the four travelling Manitoba teams. We will have to provide volunteers for a couple of hours.
Sat 12:45 - 2pm
Sun 10:45 - 12pm

First Installment Now Due - April 27
