Sequoyah Softball: Welcome
|
As one of the top fastpitch programs in Georgia High School Softball, Sequoyah high school has participated in the regional, sectional or state tournaments 15 of the last 16 years, winning the 2006 AAAA State Championship.
The Lady Chiefs fielded a very strong team in 2008 and continued the Sequoyah tradition of EXCELLENCE. Despite numerous injuried, Sequoyah softball played deep into Sectionals, coming within one game from playing to get to the State tournament in Columbus. Well done Ladies!
The Lady Chiefs look to return several key players from last year's squad, and along with some strong new additions, expect 2009 to be another successful year. With goals of winning the Region, County, and making a return to the State Tournament in Columbus, 2009 looks to be another exciting season of Sequoyah softball.
Please be sure and thank the fine Sequoyah SPONSORS for helping make Sequoyah softball possible.
