Welcome to Portland Little League in Southeast Portland, Oregon. We hope you use this site frequently. Use this site to find schedules, scores, or even use it to register on-line for the current season. This site will be posting important messages about league meetings along with messages from Managers on everything from practices to rain outs.
You can even use this site to relay messages to the Portland Little League Board if you have any questions about the season.

The Annual Meeting was held on September 27th at Round Table Pizza. The following members were elected to the Portland Little League Board of Directors:

Vice-President of Minors Baseball: Kris Gomez
Vice-President of Farms Baseball: Mike Lyons

Player Agent Of Softball: Rod Atkinson
Safety Officer: Steve Hammond
Equipment Manager: Mike Lyons
Umpire In Chief: Keith Carey
There are still several positions open including Administrative Vice President, Player Agent of Baseball, Vice President of Softball, Coaching Coordinator and many Member-At-Large positions.
The board meetings are held the second Sunday of each month at Round Table Pizza on Foster road at 6:30. Anyone is welcome to attend.
Sunday, June 14
The season-long Wii raffle was done at yesterday's End of the Season Picnic.
Theresa Holgate was the winner of the Wii raffle, and Rod Atkinson won the Wii Fit in the same raffle. Thanks to all who contributed to this fund raiser!

Tuesday, November 18
The approved Portland Little League Constitution for the 2009 season, along with the bylaws and playing rules are available for download. These documents outline how the league is supposed to operate, and provide some basic playing rules that we will be using. We encourage everyone read the bylaws and playing rules! Portland Little League operates a email list for its members. We currently run this email list through Yahoo groups. Membership is limited to members of the league, and those planning on joining. Wednesday, January 23
Little League requires that we verify that all registered players have a parent that resides within our boundaries. The boundary map can be found at the bottom of this page. The area the League covers is in red. We must see three items that provide proof of residency. Little league lists these as:
Residence shall be established and supported by documents from THREE OR MORE of the following categories to determine residency of such parent(s) or guardian:
1. Driver’s License
2. Voter’s Registration
3. School records
4. Welfare/child care records
5. Federal records
6. State records
7. Local (municipal) records
8. Support payment records
9. Homeowner or tenant records
10. Utility bills (i.e., gas, electric, water/sewer, phone, mobile phone, heating, waste disposal)
11. Financial (loan, credit, investments, etc.) records
12. Insurance documents
13. Medical records
14. Military records
15. Internet, cable or satellite records
16. Vehicle records
Note: Example – Three utility bills (three items from No. 10 above) constitute only ONE document.
Tuesday, June 2
Saturday June 13th is the End of the Season Picnic from 12:00 to 4:00 at Woodstock Park.
Free Food will be served. A raffle will be held, with a drawing done every 30 minutes. There will be a Dunk Tank, and rumor has it that Lucky The Beaver will be stopping by. In addition, the drawing for the Wii raffle will be done, a silent auction held, and much more!
