Andria Koehler - Rutgers University
Andria Koehler is one of the "Charter Belles" who played on the first Sellersville Belles team and played her entire travel ball career as a Belle. Andria pitched and played an occasional inning at first base.
Andria started every inning of every game as pitcher in her four year high school career at Pennridge High School in Perkasie, PA. She was team captain her junior and senior seasons and was the MVP her sophomore, junior, and senior years.
Koehler had a strong career at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ for the Scarlet Knights. At Rutgers, Andria pitched in all four seasons, with her senior season being her strongest. Her first three seasons "on the banks" Andria was named the team Scholar Athlete. Her Senior season she was named co-mvp with battery-mate Nikki Childress. She graduated with a 3.86 GPA and was twice named to the Verizon Academic AllAmerican Team. Koehler graduated with a degree in Environmental Planning and Design and is working as a landscape architect in Silverthorne Colorado.

That's along way from Sellersville!!

Crystal States - Cedarville University
In her short time as a Sellersville Belle, Crystal States left a very favorable impression. She impressed in the fall of 2006 to get the opportunity to attend and play at Cedarville University. She will make an impact in her first season as the starting catcher. States was known at Sellersville for her "weather updates." Here is hoping that Crystal sees sunny skies at Cedarville.

Jen Lococo - DeSales University
Jen had a very successful senior season in 2007 with the Sellersville Belles. In the fall of 2006 she was able to show her abilities at both first and in the circle as pitcher. The lefty from Freedom High School hopes to make an immediate impact at DeSales. Good luck Jen!!

Val Malizzia - Lebanon Valley College
Val was able to secure a position with the Flying Dutchmen in the fall of 2007. Val will be called on to make an immediate impact in the circle because Lebanon Valley graduated their pitchers. She will join former Belle Allie Davies.

Dee Eppinger - Indiana University of Pennsylvania
Dee will be the 3rd Sellersville Belle to join the squad at IUP. As a standout shortstop for Sellersville and North Penn High School, Dee may find herself playing a role from short to the outfield. We know with Dee's work ethic it will not be long until she is one of the starting nine. Good luck Dee.
Sunday, August 26
Brittany Allman - Indiana University of Pennsylvania
Brittany becomes the 4th Belle to put on the maroon of IUP. She will join teammate Dee Eppinger in the Freshman Class of 2007. Brittany will probably see time in the outfield. she is a true power hitter who should help IUP as they rebound from their dissappointing 2007 season.
Sunday, August 26
Kate Staffieri - DeSales University
Kate is going to work behind the dish for DeSales University. Kate will be called on early because last year's catchers graduated. Staff's work ethic should serve her will as she starts her college career.

Beth Everist - Mt. Saint Mary's University
Beth Everist takes her power pitching and strong "stick" to "The Mount." Although Beth missed her final season as a Belles due to her broken leg, Coach Larry Alvis had seen enough of Beth in the fall of 2006 to know that she would be an impact player for him at "The Mount." Beth "speaks softly and carries a big stick."

Bednar to Fly With Hawks!
Yes, Christine "Beddy" Bednar has given a verbal committment to Head Coach Terri Adams of the St. Joseph's University Hawks softball team that she will attend and play softball for her in the fall of 2008! Beddy has worked very hard since joining the Sellersville Belles in 2006 to reach this milestone. All Belles, both past and present are very happy and excited for Christine.
Christine will join St. Joe's to play either right or left field. Coach Adams is looking for her power hitting bat to make an immediate impact as she steps her game up to the next level. Bednar was being courted by UMBC also and most heavily by Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Christine chose St. Joe's primarily for the strong program it has in the major in which she is most interested.
Good luck Christine - and GOOOO Hawks!!!

Jessie James Signs NLI...
to play softball in the fall of 2008 for the Crimson Hawks of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Jessie has worked hard to come back from her ACL injury of last winter. There was an early interest on the part of IUP and when all things were weighed, IUP won James. Jessie will work behind the plate.
Jessie is the 4th Sellersville Belle to commit to IUP, following Hilary Tutrani, Caroline Oakley, and Dee Eppinger. Looks like the start of a good thing.
Good luck Jessie, and GOOOOO Hawks!!!

Good Things Come In Threes...
and the third signing of a National Letter of Intent from the 2008 Sellersville Belles is Brittany Schlorff. Brittany has signed with Bucknell University. She is likely to see play at her position of shortstop but may get a call for action behind the plate. Brittany was courted by many colleges, but she chose The Bisons of Bucknell for the educational program that will best prepare her for life after college. Britt is the second Belle to play at Bucknell, following teammate Jessie James' older sister Jen.
Congrats Britt!!!! Run Bisons!!!

Heather Hannum Signs NLI...
with Kutztown University. Heather will join her sister next fall as a Golden Bear at Kutztown. Her sister Nicole is at Kutztown now as a freshman and it was a perfect match for Heather. Heather should make an immediate impact with her power hitting. Belles Head Coach Paul Koehler said "Heather is one of the biggest hitters I have ever had the priviledge of coaching with the Belles. She has amazing power and is one player who can 'go yard' on any swing. I am just glad she is on the Belles."
Congrats Heather and Go Bears!!!!
