We're Lovin' It...
The Sellersville Belles are about more than just softball. This year, under the direction of Kim Begley, a collection of items was taken for the Ronald MacDonald House in Philadelphia. There was a tremendous outpouring of support for this appeal by the softball community at our 13th Annual Fall Classic Tournament.
Now for the really neat part of all of this - the Belles will deliver the items collected to the Ronald MacDonald House on December 12, 2009. This will be a truly revealing day to the Belles as they learn just how fortunate they are to be healthy and not be in the same situation that these families find themselves.
Again, the Belles would like to thank the tremendous support of the teams involved in donating these items. We also want to thank Kim Begley for her work to make the arrangements and make the contacts. Kim has shown what the term community service truly means. Great job Kim!!

Pennsbury Here We Come...
Yes, the Sellersville Belles have been accepted to the prestigious Pennsbury College Showcase Tournament. This is the 7th year in a row that the Belles have played at Pennsbury. The Belles always play tough at Pennsbury, winning their pool in 2008.
This year's new format of single elimination on Sunday gives the Belles another reason to play well. The first year the Belles played at Pennsbury, this format was used. The Belles are looking forward to making their mark with a young team!
Thanks go out to the selection committee at Pennsbury. Our acceptence tells us that we "are doing things right" in Sellersville. Let's go Belles!

2010 Sellersville Belles Named!!
Eventhough, the Sellersville Belles are not a Gold registered team, in 2009 the Belles were 19-4-1 against Gold Teams. The 2010 Belles have a tough act to follow; however, a team has been put together that should rival the best Belles teams of the past. 39 different talented young ladies tried out over the course of 8 try outs. The roster for the 2010 season will be 16 including the following 14 players:
Returning Belles include Alex Cowell, Mandi Baer, Hope Spancake, Krista Ammon, Kim Begley, Sam Kraus, and Brittany Devlin. Added to that list are the new Belles of Becky Ellis, Alesha Marcks, Jill Schnall, Lindsey Mastro, Brittany Beebe, Jess Kurtz, and Brittany Shoemaker.
This is a group who will grow together quickly and challenge all comers. This team is a great combination of experience, power hitting, speed, and youth. Come on out to Sellersville and catch some of the newest brand of Belles Ball!!
