2010 Playing Location

As of this date Southeast Diamondbacks Little League is planning play for its 2010 Season at South Valley Junior High School.  We have turned in our permit application to reserve the school.  GUSD did raise its rates for 2010 as expected.

We will be paying the following for use of the school:  (1) Lights $15.00 per hour, (2) Baseball Fields $15.00 per hour, (3) Multi-use Fields $10.00 per hour, and (4) $25.00 for custodial fees.

We continue to have discussions with HUSD AD Art Wagner.  HUSD has been very open to our play at those facilities.  As of this date the biggest obstacle is logistics.    HUSD can make HEMS available to us, but use of that facility would require running both the majors and minors division on one field.  Logistically that is not posslble.   For our league to play within HUSD we would have to use 2 locations - HEMS and one other school with lights.  We will continue to discuss use of HUSD fields for our league with the district.  All updates with reside at this location.
